Background: A locally established coffee company founded by Dave and Susan Ward in 2008. They created this business because they discovered nothing beats coffee made from freshly roasted beans. “Brew Good, Do Good” is their motto and mission, meaning all of their coffees are sourced through relationships with small lot farmers and women-owned co-ops. This allows customers to be able to give back with their purchases. There are many small business coffee shops within the community, putting the company in constant competition. Despite the competitors, Buddy Brew won the Small Business of the Year award in 2021.
