City Rebrand
Palm Springs, California
Objective: Create and design a new brand identity for the City of Palm Springs, California.
Design Concept: After an initial brand audit I determined the City of Palm Springs, California would benefit from a new brand identity that focuses on the area's mid-century architecture and design.
The city's logo currently utilizes a gold and royal blue color palette.
I believe it’s possible to express the city's modernist mecca design style and natural beauty using different colors. I rebranded the City of Palms Springs using pink, green, light blue, and brown as well as typography that reflects the city’s retro signage. My rebrand diverges from the original logo by emulating the city’s rich history.
